Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself quickly. I am a 4runner guy, and will only be there on Saturday, but hope you can accept me as one of your own... This will be my first time getting out with any Toyota's, I've only ever gone out with Jeeps.

I got added to the green/blue group, but would like to maybe latch onto the blue group if possible. This is my first time at AAOA, but have been to rausch creek many times and run blues pretty much 100% of the time. 2000 4runner, 285/75/16, no lockers etc. Here is a pic from Red Elephant Hill in CO from August.

you run blues at Rausch with that?

Edit, You are able to successfully run blues with your truck? I have yet to visit Rausch, but have heard they are tougher.

I was just curious. From everyone I talk to about Rausch, there seems to be a very different level of difficulty from a Rausch blue to a AOAA blue. Everyone says Rausch trails are harder.

I have not been there yet. eventually...

I've been to Rausch once and AOAA once. Blues and greens both times. Seemed comparable to me.

I've actually gathered that RC blues are harder but AOAA blacks are harder. Much of that was from earlier in this thread. Someone chime in if I'm wrong?

To clarify: RC blues are harder than AOAA blues; AOAA blacks are harder than RC blacks

Then sign me up for blues! I don't want to buck the list or mess up groupings, but I like to challenge myself a bit (and still drive it home).

You're in my group @nwh5024 and I'm more inclined to blues than greens. So you'll have support for blues.

Drop bracket lift and booger welds
Blues are doable with decent tires, sliders and skids at Rausch.

when we do greens/Blues. It's greens that turn into blues. But if u don't want to do blues there's a bypass. Where as blues only no bypass.
