So what should I look for when buying armor and sliders?? Would like the sliders to have some kind of step but maybe not completely flat.

I know it's far away. I looked up my birthday and noticed it was a Saturday. Everyone is talking about a snow trip, so I figured what better way to celebrate a birthday than in the woods with my newly made friends! We can certainly play it by ear. I mean shit, I'm game to go next weekend hah!

I know my chopped exhaust basically sends everything up into the cabin if the windows are open and I'm stopped, and have had people from exhaust companies tell me that's an issue with not having the pipes routed out the back

Gotcha. You can reroute to fit a flat t-skid and not chop at the rear axel. I forget you have a T4R as well. It is under the bed for us tacos.

Yeah same here! I don't need much advance notice, because either I'm working or I'm not, no gray area there. I also know my schedule for literally infinity (it's a shift schedule that constantly repeats) so that helps with planning.

I've considered making my own for the rear for offroad use only. Not sure how good I'd be at welding a chain link shut though.
