    For vacation, I have a max of 248 hours. I get 17 per month. Doesnt matter when I take time off, but I usually wait until I am "forced" to (use it or lose it at 248).

    I am interested. Fall ‘18 sounds good but if it gets pushed to ‘19 I will do Rocktoberfest and this. I want to see more of the country and this seems like a good way to do it.:transformer:

    OK just for basic, very pre-emptive planning if everyone could post:
    -When they absolutely can and absolutely cannot go
    -Where they want to go out west
    -Things they absolutely want to see

    Absolutely cannot go between may-august 2019. A lot of big life changes are happening then with moving across states, getting out of the navy, etc.

    As far as where I want to go, I don't want to go any farther west than Colorado.

    I do not have any can/cannot that far out. If dates get planned it makes it easier to block off my time. I want to see Moab, Arches, Brice, Monument Valley, and a whole lot of Colorado. I want to see all the big parks also but they do not line up with this trip. PNW and Cali and Arizona etc. etc. I will be taking multiple trips over time.

    My time frame is going to be cut between aforementioned dates. Any day after Memorial
    Day weekend till 2nd week in September 2018 or 2019. Black Bear, Imogene, and ideally as much of Colorado as possible. Doesn’t have to be all wheeling and see some of the national parks they have on tap in the state.(ie; day hike)

    Weather wise I think this is going to be the best time of year for the most part from what I understand

    Also traveling with a 3.5yo so colder isn’t generally in my forecast

    Thinking the ideal time frame weather wise would be late Autumn
