    Aluminized tubing would have to have the coating ground off prior to welding it. My guess is SS.

    I stopped by a few places a week and a half ago, few of them didn't want to touch a new Truck, one would with I believe galvanized tube, and in another guy said he could use aluminized, but it wouldn't last as long... Since I have a newish truck, I'd rather not come back to it in next few years...
    On the other hand, I've heard that people do it and are happy, so, yeah

    I'm not sure what they used. It cost me like 150$ took them like an hour and a half. It works great with my skids.
