Anybody have a picture of underneath the hitch or the backside of the bumper uninstalled? The lack of a hitch without losing the licence plate is a non-starter for me so I would like to make something to adapt the hitch to work.

    TIA

These look great! Any future of bull bars on the front?

Glad you like them! We may offer a full grill guard in the future.

I’m really excited for the swingout + BSM combo. That’s an instant buy from me whenever you have it ready.

Hopefully it doesn’t require moving the backup camera, or you integrate it into the arm somehow.

Is a high clearance with BSM functionality? Hopefully something that doesn't weigh a ton either. Whats the weight of the regular rear bumper with BSM? Nice work here. I couldn't believe more shops haven't been trying to get this to work.

    Anyone install yet?

Hey Adam, glad you like what we're doing here. Normal clearance bumper is about 100lbs raw with no accessories. We've also installed plenty of customer bumpers with no issues spoken of to date. High clearance will definitely be heavier than the normal clearance, but we're taking measures to keep the weight down as much as possible. It definitely has BSM compatibility!

When a standard bumper is ordered, is it already prepped for a tire swing out when they're released?

Apogee, you are my heroes. I was super disappointed after buying my truck last year just to be immediately rear ended by an elder who could barely even walk anymore. I always figured I’d upgrade bumpers when that happened, but was disappointed to find nothing allowed the BSM that came with my new($$$) truck.

I’m currently tempted to buy your bumper right here and now, but I’m wanting to see what you guys can do with a swing out arm. How are you guys progressing? Any rough ideas on when you might have something for us waiting?

Thanks Matt! That's what we want to hear. The swing out arm should be coming in the next few months after extensive testing, and the only difference will be 4 brackets that are welded to the rear. If you're a handy fabricator, we can sell the bumper and swing out arm with weld on brackets separate if you need a bumper now!

    Thanks!

As long as you order a raw bumper, we can sell the swing out and brackets separate to be welded on later!

@Apogee Offroad I cant believe I havent seen this yet... Just about to cancel my order for my High Clearance rear bumper and gonna wait for yours!

    A few questions:

Any estimation on release for the High Clearance w/ swing out?

Will the swing out allow for a full length camp table(to fit a standard Coleman camp stove and maybe a cutting board next to it), dual jerry can holder and a hi lift mount?

Will there be an option for a single swing out option?

Will the swing out allow for greater than 90 degree rotation for more space?

Will the swing out be released the same time as the high clearance?

Honestly cannot wait for this. Great job guys!

Also, any pictures of the front bumper with the grille guards on a truck? Would it be possible to get the front grill without the light cutout? About to order one and was wondering about those options. Thanks for the help!

Oh man. Just found out about this rear bumper. I’m definitely going to order 1. How soon will the swing out be available? Do you have a date?

Is the swing out a single or dual with options?

    I’m ready now.

Trust me i'm ready for it too!

The pre-production model is going to be ready for testing around the end of January. No exact date yet.

We will be offering the swing outs as a separate option for those who have already purchased the bumper.

Feel free to purchase during our Christmas sale to save some cash on the rear bumper, then when the swing outs come out you'll be set!

As of now it will be a dual swing out with various mounting options for popular accessories and a generic bolt pattern for any other further accessories.

Check out our Instagram/Facebook for a teaser video!

    Thanks!

So excited my rear bumper finally got delivered today! Seems to be wrapped pretty well and I couldn't see any blemishes on the exposed parts. Will be unwrapping my late Christmas present from Santa this weekend to inspect it and make sure I got everything I ordered. Weight is about 125lbs including pallet wood. Storing it in the back of the truck since I have no room in the garage.

Awesome! Thanks for hanging in there with us. Shipping has been extremely slow lately due to the holidays.

Can't wait to see it on your truck, we hope you enjoy!

Obvious question that’s been asked in other ways. I’ve seen the weights on the front and rear posted elsewhere, but can you say exactly how much more both weigh compared to the OEM counterpart. 215lbs weight seems like a lot to add to a truck with limited GVW, so I’d like to be know exactly how much weight is added with the removal of OEM bumpers. Thanks!

Unfortunately we don’t have weights of the OEM parts so can’t give you an exact answer on the additional weight. The rear bumper/hitch is much heavier than we expected though. Probably 75 lbs minimum. The next time we do an install we’ll try to weigh the OEM components and then we can post it up.

Always a trade off on protection vs weight! We do what we can to balance the two.

Please do compare the weights! If that estimate is correct, means I’m only really adding about 40lbs for the extra protection and that’s totally worth it. Still waiting for you guys to get those swing arms to production and you’ll have a buyer for sure.

    Will do on the weights!

We will get some teaser pics of the swing outs ASAP! Keep your eyes posted on our Instagram. Hoping to get some more work done on them this coming week!
