Yes there’s plenty of aftermarket radios now that support Apple CarPlay. I have a sony in mine. Works great and has an actual volume . knob828FEC83-A58D-4F36-A697-F65F8F7D14DE.jpg

This is the exact setup I am interested in putting in my 2011! A couple of questions if you don't mind:
    1) That volume knob does not control power, correct? If that's right, where's the on/off?
    2) Did you hook up your tailgate camera to the head unit or leave it on the rear view mirror?

    Good info, thanks.

When you connected the camera, did you have to mod the cable to get it to connect to RCA? How's the image quality? I'm thinking of replacing the camera to get a higher quality view but it seems to be a lot of work.

If you use a heavy gauge rca cable the picture is pretty good. I cut the end and tapped into the fuse panel connector. Lower driver side its a white connector. There’s a thread on how to tap into the harness.its a red and white cableD463E2AE-E086-4A3B-9E45-F8029A500C88.jpg
