3" lift and alignment was close to spec but not perfect. Ill post up the numbers if i can find them.

After 700 miles i measured 2/32 more wear on the outside of the tire vs. the inside. Which is why i opted for the new UCAs.

I also have a 2012. I am about to install my lift which is 5100 W/ OME 885 and the rear has a 3 leaf progressive with 5150. I am worried about alignment. I am going to run 285. I hope I dont have to trim much. What did you have to trim? UCA are a bit expensive and I am hoping I can shy away from that for a bit.

I'll take pics of the trimming this week.

But I should tell you that the main reason I bought the UCAs was to protect my tires from uneven wear and gain some caster back in the process. A set of 5 285/75/r16s were over 1k$. I really wanted to protect them, and all the sets of tires I get after.

    Really like your build.

Are those genuine FJ wheels or these... This repo option looks like a good deal...

I'm also wanting that Demello. Best looking plate bumper out there...

Mine are legit. But the difference is minimal. It's simply a matter of where the wheels are powder coated. The wheels themselves are the same.

Hey I just got these exact OEM wheels, Im looking around a place in Utah to get them installed, do you have any advice to make sure they work? Can I just use the stock tires for now, will these wheels work with them? Someone was telling me the offset wouldn't work these rims and my truck. Im New to all this stuff, but any help would be awesome.

    I have a 2012 OR

Umm yeah.. they work. They are a perfect fit for your truck. It would be a shame to put rugged fails on them. But I'm pretty sure stock tires will fit just fine.

How big of tires can I go with those rims without having to do what the guy called trimming up above. I don't want to have to change anything except the rims and maybe the tires. I don't know enough about lifts yet to even ask that question. I guessing now, that you don't need a lift to use these wheels as I had previously thought.

265/75/r16 no trimming or rubbing. Basically one tire size up.

I trimmed the fender flare, the inner fender (took off the bottom screw), and some other bits. I have the Body chop plates sitting in the garage now. Just need to find someone to weld them on for me. I'm thinking about flattening the pinch weld a little and then painting the wheel well black.

Which of the Black Out Headlight Mod guides did you follow? It seems like there are a bunch of ways of doing it.
