Applying strip to flares

    2007 Tacoma 4WD Longbox
    I just got a replacement rear flare for my 07 Tacoma but it didn't come with the rubber strip so I peeled the one off my wrecked flare and am hoping I can use it, but it looks tricky. Any tips on how best to apply, what glue or tape to use etc.? Thanks
