Let me see when this damn wedding is. If its sunday i can come up saturday morning real early, what do you guys have to do as far as mods go?

 

I'm gonna try and do my Ubolt flip kit, which require a little welding. Then gonna try and get my light bar mount behind my grille set up. And a new grille mesh. So a decent amount I suppose

 

i can help with that, ive made several satoshis

 

I got some homertaco mesh that I need to bend and cut to fit my grille then just use my existing mesh mounts and screw it in. Not hard just have to measure, cut, bend possibly weld a little and paint

 

i drilled a few holes around the supports on my grill and zipped mine in.

 

Mine has holes with screws in it currently so I'll just use those

 

I'm mostly just gonna hang out and help you guys with whatever. I'll get an idea of what's involved with the satoshi, but don't know if I'll tackle that right away or not.

 

I'd wait for your tbh. You have to cut a lot and then bondo it and blah blah blah. I'll give you my old mesh tho so you can do it eventually

i got it down to a science with the 2001-04 grilles, its only about an hour of actual work on those.

Im on for saturday. ill drive up pretty early, what time are you wanting to get started @Burnett? i dont have much other than maybe tackling that tube bumper and making some be supports. I wanted to try to measure for that bed cage so ill know how much tubing to scrounge up down the road. ive got your light tabs in my glove box.

 

oh and ordering my McNeil Fenders today so... yeah. starting to dive in. if i spend 350 on fenders im not turning back.

 

Don't know if my lower shock mounts will be here in time so the u-bolt flip may be out. But I still have plenty of other small things to do!

 

we could always make some out of some flat stock

All-Pro until I can move my spare onto a bumper so I can relocate and get bigger shocks

 

those are the pyramid shaped ones? i think im going to use those on top of my axle when i do my cage.
