what i didnt like was that you cant stream music via only bluetooth. had zero onboard storage, and no dvd player or input other than hdmi. i reccomend the axxess steering wheel controls integrator.

also just use a relay for your toggle so it operates automatically, use your remote wire to flip the swictch grounding your parking brake wire

doesnt work. with the firmware update the HU is now looking for you to put the e-brake on twice for it to bypass anything. you could program a PAC-tr7 to pulse twice, AND hook it up to that relay, or you could buy a simple switch, run one prong to a ground, and the other to the parking brake wire and just flip it twice... thats what i did with my fiances appradio that i just put in. i hid the switch in the ashtray that closes so you cant see it, and once you trigger it twice, you have bypassed it until the next reboot.

That's true. You do have to hit the e-brake twice currently. Couldn't remember but I think thats why we decided to go with the 3-way toggle

Update, pioneer announced an iPhone 5 cord but only after I purchased a 4th gen 64 gig iPod touch that permanently lives in the truck. We've since hacked the iPod and it will be able to run any app on the appradio. I'm ordering a Bluetooth GPS that will provide maps that I will be able to view on the screen and manipulate due to the hacking so I'm pretty stoked on this thing again. Not to mention I watched lord of the rings in my driveway the other day. Jbl surround sound baby!

    Chrome don't get you home

Did you have jbl entune before buying this unit? If so did you buy an adapter to make the amp and speakers work? Which adapter? Link please.
    Cheers

No entune on the 2010, yes to jbl and I'll have to remember what harness I got. It all becomes plug and play though. Works perfect and sounds great. Not sure why, but it doesn't seem like I can turn it up as loud now.

For what it's worth (and I know you've since found a solution), that's an iPhone 5 issue and not the HU. Apple left a lot of people hanging when they went to the new adapter and iOS 6.

I ordered one of these last week and got it today, I had to go to a local shop to get a wiring harness that I forgot to order, and I also didn't know at the time that I needed an adapter for hooking up an Android (I have a Galaxy Nexus, which Pioneer says will work). I also got the axxess steering wheel control, and ordered a parking break bypass. I should have it all installed by Friday and I will give it a spin and report back how it works with android.

By far the best brake bypass is a simple toggle switch. Next firmware update to the stereo and your bypass won't work. Mine will :D

And yeah it'll work fine with android. Just plugs I to the hdmi port on the back instead of the apple port. Oddly enough I believe that's what they plugged the iPhone 5 cord into.

Ok, maybe you had the same issue when you did yours, but I had everything working before I put it back in the dash. Had the MHL connection working so that pandora would play through the head unit using the connection on my phone. Now that it is in its as if its not even connected to the phone other then Bluetooth.

I'd check the plugs firstly. Sounds like something just wiggled loose.

Pulled everything back out and it still isn't working. I get power through the connection but it isn't connecting through the hdmi part... I'm confused because I had everything working perfectly before I put it all back into the dash

Yeah that's really weird. I'm not sure since its the android port. Pm proforce. He knows the problem, guaranteed.

Appradio extensions is the name of the program you'll need. It doesn't work with the current iOS but if you have a device running an older version it'll work. I'm waiting for them to update it. Full function of the iOS device on the head unit
