Mine are 265/70 loaded range C as stated in the original post. I opted to not go the the 275 to avoid the weight of the E rated tire, so this doesn't really apply.

Can I Install the P265 - 70r - 17" on my new TRD Sport Access Cab 4WD V6 without lift kit and causing any problems? New at this!
    Thanks, John

I have an Off Road, but I believe the ride hight is the same as the 4wd sport. If that is the case, yes. I have zero suspension mods, and zero issues with the new larger tires.

I also have the mud guards? Hope they won't rub? Thx for the input! John

One gentlemen was kind enough to post here that this size was rubbing on his mud guards. Personally, I am not that concerned with a hostile mud take over that I require anything to guard against it! Don't have them and don't plan on it anytime in the future.

how easy was it to transfer and reset the psi sensors to the new wheel setup? how much taller did it make it sit? it looks like it fills the wheel well better then the stock tires. especially in the back. i feel like my wheel well is huge with a small tire in it now with stock. what are your thoughts on that..

Hopefully the tpms system is better then my wife's 2008 CRV. I can only go 2 psi over the factory spec. After that and once the tires heat up the tpms light comes on due to over pressure.

I ordered my wheels and tires online and then took them to Discount Tire for mounting and balancing. The shop had no trouble swapping the sensors and the reprogramming you can do yourself anytime via a button under your steering wheel and the instructions in the manual. These tires are 1 inch larger in diameter than my stock Goodyear's were so the overall ride height was increased by 1/2".

I have 265/70/17 on a set of fuel rims 17x9 with a +1 offset I needed to modify the factory mud guards to stop the rub at half turn. The mud guards are fine now only rubs turning and going over a bump so I am fine with it now.

Also leveled with a set of 5100 at .085

I posted this in the BFG T/A KO2 thread and hope this helps. I run 37psi front 37psi rear.
I just replaced my BFG T/A KO 265/75R16 with BFG T/A KO2 265/75R16. @Skrain, yes they do fit. I really like the look of the mid travel and performance. I have a 2" lift and there are no rubbing issues. On the stock ride height, the tires rub a little when turning on bumps. But to fix that, just trim the front mud flaps up one rib as shown in the pic. That fixed my rubbing issues on the stock setup:

I love seeing the pics of other TW members rocking FJ Trail Team wheels! Still the best looking OEM rims!

So you still get a small rub even with a slight lift? I went 265/70/17 load range "C" on Fn FX Pro 17 x 8 wheels with a 0 offset and had a slight rub with stock mud guards so I put some RokBlockz mud flaps on and have had no rub what so ever on stock suspension. I'm running 35 psi right now but might be lowering it to 32-33 psi to see what feels best to me.

No matter what the psi I set it to, the ride still sucks. Got it aligned and balanced twice at 2 diff shops and it still rides like crap. Any suggestions?

The link is an interesting read, the chart on page 30 its states "DO NOT use this table for P-Metric sizes". Isn't the op's stock tires p265/70/16/112?

    I went from stock
    To my 285/75r16 k02s,
39 to 40 psi for every driving here. Best gas with that psi.

Goodyear Kevlars that come on the Offroad are iso/euro metric; not p-metric.

Thanks for clarifying, just trying to determine what goes in my LT265/70/R17 when converting from P265/65/R17. I also came up with 37 psi.

What are specs on the TRD pro wheels. I see 17x7, 17x8, and 17x9. I want to run the tire configuration 265/70/17 but I am confused about the TRD pro wheel specs. When I look at the Toyota site I only see these wheels for the 4 runner

TRD Pro wheels are 17 x 7. I have FN FX Pro wheels which look very similar but are 17 x 8. I went that route because I like the sizing better and the center hub cab looks cleaner to me.
