New to Tacoma World. I know this thread is for the April meet (won't be able to attend but hope to head that way for next one), wanted to ask though where in Seattle area there is a shop to maybe get sliders and roof rack? I live in Yakima and don't want to pay for shipping costs.

You should come to this, and come get your sliders installed right before.

You should plan a date in the area, drive by and be like "oh look at all the Tacomas! What a coincidence. We should check it out!"

man I would love to be there. I can't justify the 1.5 hour drive though. Need one of these in the greater seattle area. I live 45 min. North East of the city so this isn't doable. There was some happy hour for the overland rally last week in Tacoma too. Same excuse for me.

BUUUT, since we are to use this thread to plan trail runs for April as well, I'm thinking of heading out to Beckler river road on Sunday 4/28. No real plan. Just explore. Lemme know if anyone is interested and I'll post up some logistical details to meet up.

I've got nothing to do but I'd rather head out Mtn Loop Hwy by myself than do the nightmare drive to Puyallup. I'll be at the next one thats north of Seattle

Don't let your truck out of your sight there. So many smashed windows every weekend up there. More than any other FR system.

Let me know if there is snow on the ground up there. it's a nice pretty drive i did it with @PacNW_Taco last year i believe.
I'd love to take the wife up there in the next couple weeks.

Lots of meth/heroin/junkies around Granite Falls - I usually dont go to far from my truck. Shame because there are lots of great hikes out there

I might join ya. Think I was up there in Feb when there was a lot of snow still. Made it to the multi-FR junction and turned around. Curious to see what the conditions are like.

There was a short hike to a fire lookout on the one of the roads we took. @Goran, you happen to remember the name of that lookout? Was hoping to check it out this summer.
