April 24-26 Slick Rock Camping/Wheeling

I might be down! I need to get my 4runner built up a bit and take it on a few shakedown test runs before Moab so slickrock is a pretty good trail for that.

Slickrock would be a great place to test my new sliders, ifs, and rear bumper before Moab...

 

Yeah I'll snap a pic once it's driving again, been sitting for about a year, stripped of all bumpers so I need to get on that. Then stuff an e-locker in the rear and wire it in, and wire up lights/winch/etc.
It's a white 3rd gen, v6 5speed.

 

Skid and sliders are getting PCed and they're ready. Then we just need to get that rear done!

 

No idea. She has been waiting to take a photography class but she hasnt had time.

 

So excited. Remember to let me know when to order the rotopax mount, cans, and rear lights.

You guys don't happen to want to move it to the next or before weekend....haha I'm out as that is when my family is going to Yosemite. Wish it was closer as I would come out for the day.

 

I like it just alittle bit. But I also like slickrock trail. I had all the photos on my build so I just posted them up but they give a good representation of the obsticals.

 

Jason, if making it a day trip will get you in, I'm down to roll out and back that same day.

I'm in, not sure if I will be camping tho. I do have that Friday off too

 

Put me down as a maybe for right now. Lots of things happening towards the end of April so ill see if I can sneak away for this trip!

Gold lake is awesome! My 4wd Club (Toys on the Rocks) used to put on a Poker Run there over Labor Day weekend. We did many of the improvements at the 4wd camp at the back of the lake (fire pit etc). Got to run the old part of Snake Lake trail just after it was re-opened about 15 years ago...that top climb up through the trees will give serious pucker in a swb 40!

 

Thank you for the improvements. I went up there twice last year and we had a blast. We went to snake loop on the way home sunday afternoon and we got alittle stuck. We were forced to turn around with a 4 hour drive home.

 

I'm a maybe. Hoping my GF can get that Saturday off. We'll see.. That will be my bday week haha..

 

What?? It is fernys bday weekend too I say we put that new fridge to use nick and bring a cake!!! Boom! Updating list with the new maybes in a few.
