I'll be fine. Its the drinking heavily the night prior that gets me. So no drinking heavily on Friday, I promise

I'm kinda scared to mess these axles up since I am going to re-boot them. owell, I don't want that to stop me from this trip

Trip not dead yet... just noodling out options. Who knows, weather could swing in our favor yet. Looked at hotels, it's an option. The closest I found was 178/night in arnold. Split 4 ways that would be 45 each. And it is pretty close. Cheaper hotels are still over an hour away from the 5 mins of research I've done so far.

Two of you couples can pair up if you want - but splitting a room four ways involves sharing a bed and I'm, how should I say this, not that frugal. :D

How does this thread have a 5 star rating? I figured by now we would at least be to 3... Still noodling out details. Steve and Greg, you two already decide to get a room, or waiting until tomorrow to book hotel? Can you even do it on Friday? If people are weird about the bed thing, I can honestly just sleep on one of our camping mats and a sleeping bag. Or sometimes they'll bring a cot... I'm not out for sure yet, but I will say the two weather sites I am looking at are showing 3-5" snow Saturday.

It would be really funny if you all woke up and the road is closed. Ended up you couldn't even get to the trailhead

I have a crazy idea... push trip to sunday? Woukd be nice enough to camp by sat evening most likely. No forecast I have seen so far has shown bad weather on sunday. This weather is almost comical. Look at the days after Saturday wtf

I was planning on packing tomorrow night, and reserve a hotel room at the same time.

Since it's late arrival, needs to be guaranteed reservation.

That's one more day of watching weather forecast.

Don't mind sharing a room if that'll help out, but like I said, prefer not to share a bed.

I can't make Sunday. If others can and would prefer it, go ahead and switch, and I'll catch it another time.

Crap I just wrote a post and it didn't submit from what I can tell.. sorry if this info is doubled..

Anyways my wife is out, cancelled the dog boarding. She wants me to bail too and go camping with some friends in sant cruz. We were invited previously but I told her no way, since I had organized this trip..

I'm trying to make this work but the punches keep rolling in... feel like I let you dudes down.

No worries bro. It happens. Better safe then bad stories. We don't want to be on nicks recovery thread.
    Lol
