We should run it up and camp at the end then run it in reverse the next morning or that night if we have time.

I looked and bear valley is 150 for a two queen bed rm. Lake alpine doesn't start renting until may. There is one other place I saw up there but I can't remember what it was called.

I can't imagine it will be too bad temperature. It's been really warm all winter.

Ok I looked back at weather from last two years and it was pretty chilly, down into the low 30's during some hours of night. But I don't think it was as warm as it has been this winter in general. Fire + 0degree bag + mr heater for the morning :)

It was cold last yr and last yr wasn't much different then this yr. I don't have cold weather camping gear. I could get it but I will also have at best my son. If it was in may or later I could rent a cabin and bring the wife and son and not worry. But at are age me and the wife just don't like cold weather camping. I can handle it but the wife and kid makes it impossible.

Is the trail open all yr. I would of thought it would be closed like all the other trails until may? I know its probably a dum ? But thought I would ask.
