I'm thinking the meet will be more of the program. Not sure if there's been anything nailed down for a wheeling session.
I've got this Friday off, so I was thinking of taking the kids and checking out Rutland State Park so i can let you know if your street queen can handle it.

I was actually deep in the woods in Ashford Connecticut this weekend. Went over some rocks, mud.

Not really a crowd. It's only 10 - 20 people who most of them you have had conversation with before. Trust me I've been to a few of these. It only seems weird for the 1st couple of minutes.

That might be more than you want to do at a meet. That's more mod day type of stuff

For those of you guys that have sliders or non SS side steps/nerfs bars, how do you keep up with them being in New England? I really want sliders or something more appealing than the SS tube steps on now, but I also don't want to repaint it after winter

Mine are painted and have held up pretty well, just a nick or two since last spring. Good prep work goes a long way, but linex seems to be a good option too.
I used rustolem bed liner over etching primer.

As for the slider question. Mine are painter with Rustolium, just before winter I have been repainting them to try and keep them from rusting.

You can check out my sliders when I'm there. They are a bit rusty. I use and abuse them and I'm not good with repainting them either. Hahaha

Mine have taken a beating from the winter. Going to paint them up once the weather heats up some. The spots that don't get hit with the weather are doing okay. Will have to try another option for the heavy hit areas.
