Hoping to find out dates too.
We're planning a road trip and would love to hook up with the traverse group while in Utah. Grab a beer n some grub!
    ....Since it's a 4wd only trip :annoyed:

Hi all! Happy New Year! I hope you all had safe and happy holidays.

Ok, so I've been super swamped with work and other things but it looks like things are starting to settle. Ill be taking more time to hash out routes and points of interests and such. Rock Therapy in Moab has been bumped to October for better weather and less bugs (hope to see you there for ROCKtober). So, dates for this trip lining up with T.a.CO. isn't in play. I have a few events in March to take part in (TW 2nd annual Joshua Tree chili cook off and then the Mojave Road run) so it would be nice to take April off to regroup, regear, and prep for Utah in May. Mother's Day is May 14th so I'm thinking lets put this Utah Traverse in our Tacoma World calendars for May 20th - May 27th. Thoughts? Suggestions? Concerns?

Oh, and I won't be taking April completely off. April is Merry Fishmas (trout season opener) in the Eastern Sierras. Anyone intersted can join me for that if you'd like. Ahem, @Socalduckslayer

Sounds great Greg! I'll keep an eye on this but I'm sure we'll see you soon anyway. Would be interested in joining in on a "relatively" 2wd portion of the trip before we hit the road :D

There'll be plenty of 2wd portions. This is more of a beauty seeking trip than a beat the snot out of our rigs trip. But there will still be obstacles. There's always obstacles, repairs, etc that go down on a good old fashioned traverse.

End of May works for me. I probably only need a month or 2 notice for work so just keep us posted on it.
Your gonna do Mojave road again in March? I was thinking about doing it in April. If ya got room for another I'd like to join.

Looks like Northwest Overland Rally is May 15/18. That could cause conflict with me. By no means should this trip be altered for one guy, just throwing that out there if the dates are still up in the air. It should be based on the best dates for the majority of the folks interested in going. I'm still hopeful

Looks like we will have to bow out as we are going through some big changes right now and with the other shows changing dates it has altered things.
Thank you for the opportunity and look forward to it again in the future.

    Kind regards,

We'll be boondocking in the area with a dozen or so other molded fiberglass campers (Scamps, Casitas, Olivers, etc.) from around the US for most of May. I'm not sure what degree of offroading we'll get into as its is my first time with this group. Shafer is on the list and there's some interest in the entire White Rim but there doesn't appear to be much experience here. I'll keep an eye this thread and maybe see some of you on the trails. If you spot a NC tagged Pyrite TRD DC with a Baja Rack, give us a holler. Camper is a 19' Scamp fiver; not too many of them around.
