Tthanks for tagging me. For some reason I don't always get alerts on some of my threads.

No Moab. Roctober is in, well, October and since we're traveling southern Utah east to west we really don't have time to get up to Moab. However, when this groups traverse comes to a close you'll be in an area where you can shoot up to Moab if you'd like to extend your trip.

The HAM Mike posted works just fine. I keep a couple of those as spares for others to borrow. I suggest getting the version with the extended battery. Its well worth it. I was surprised how long the battery life last on my recovery mission to DV. We chattered a lot back and forth for 3 days and I still had 3/4 of battery life left. Also, get the upgraded anntenae. Your range will increase exponentially. If you're looking for a hard mounted HAM you can text me and I can help you there as well.

@Mike likes Tacos, my bad for not responding to your post earlier regarding your vacay request. Yeah buddy! Lets do this.

    update:

Sorry I havent been on keeping updates here more. Its been a busy good few weeks. Some of you heard of my thrilling run to Death Valley on a recovery mission (yes, @stvstoy I've been to DV. Lol). Ive also been everywhere between king of the Hammers and Joshua tree in the recent past. Busy busy.

However!! We ARE still on track for Utah. Get excited cause its barking up our heels. I'm laying the Itenerary down now that my busy so cal desert season is coming to an end. Hope all of you have been well. Can't wait to hit the road with all of you. Also, after my most recent JT trip I'm now looking into a theatre system for Overlanding adventures movies in the field. We may just have a few movie nights. Cheers!

I might tag along... I'll stay a couple miles behind the trail as to not participate in the group events since it's capped ;) @goblue82

You can go ahead and take me off the list to allow room for someone else. Theres just no way I can take the time off anytime soon. Just too much going on.
