Cool ass forum, glad I found this in here, you guys are great, thank you. I have a feeling all these suggestions are going to make Lorain fire every time I pull the trigger while the gun is loaded.....
Gunsmith is only one more frustrating trip to the range away.....

Geissele SSA-E triggers. They're a fantastic trigger that replaces the factory one, but they're proud of them. $240 proud of them.

I'll probably get one. I have one that I bought with my UU kit. I think that's the only way they sold them before?

Enhanced firing pins are designed for the harder .mil primers and should solve the problem

Not as exotic as some of your builds but at 60 years of age I’m just dipping into the AR platform. I picked up a Ruger MPR 5.56 and shortly after that always being intrigued by the 6.5 Grendel I seen Palmetto had a sale on uppers and picked up a 20” stainless with a free float M-lok hand guard.
Now my wife wants one and thought I would build my first one for her. What would be a good caliber for her that will offer something that the two I have don’t?

Fine looking guns you got there!
Rifle you could do 224 Valkyrie or 300BLK
Pistol you could do a lower that takes Glock mags and do 9mm or 45ACP

Why not build her a 5.56? Maybe a pistol.

Being new to AR’s I’ve herd the term “staked” several times now. What is that exactly?

    TIA
