AR-15 BS Thread

Appreciate it brotha. Diggin em both. Got a Geissele 14.5” DDC SD on the way. Need to square away the the sights before it gets here, pretty sure I’ll head straight to the range as soon as it makes it here

 

Can't really go wrong with either. If I had to pick a winner, it would be the Geissele's.

If you're looking for low profile, I don't think they get much lower than the bobro lowrider sights. I have them and pretty pleased b/c I wasn't sure if troys would fit under my magnifier.

 

Roger that, I seent it when I was shopping around. Prior to mounting up the Deltapoint Pro in my M18, I was considering the Bobro RMR plate he worked up. I saw the sights he had available, very low profile

 

I was never really looking for them in particular b/c they were kinda pricey and figured I see Magpul pro sights that are low profile too for $120 regularly on the ar15.com ee section. But then these popped up for $115 shipped so I jumped on them. Got lucky I guess for right time right place type deal.

They all do right now with all the rookies buying up everything

 

5 emails with the same questions about their fucked up machine work and they didn't answer them one time, they just kept saying use the provided label to send it back.

 

I went through the same crap with a Beretta slide. I decided to take it to a machine shop and get it fixed. and the owner did it while I waited.

 

Mine is the AR-14 (Angry Joe) with the trigger well machined too deep with chatter. They wouldn't answer if they would send me one that was properly machined. I got some black anodized .025 aluminum and made a shim. Now, the POF trigger sits how it should. Took a file to the ends of the anti-walk pins to get them to fit the narrower lower. Had to hunt down a long drill bit to get the burrs out of the pivot pin detent spring hole.

 

Yep. They wouldnt answer the replacement questions and the return info said a replacement would have to be sent to a FFL at my expense for bcg. With no guarantee of getting an AR-14 back, made the decision to do the work to get it where it should've been.

 

AR-14 lower, 7.62x39 side charge upper.

 

Finished the 223 Wydle today. Now just need to take some time to shoot it and see how she does.
