Haven't even shot it yet. So all I can really tell you is the build quality is top notch and the mounting system is very solid. hoping to try it out on some hogs soon.

Thanks guys. I’m pretty excited to build it. Not in any rush, and I’m in California so this one will end up mag locked.

    Sorry in advance. Haha.

That’s the lower I wanted! No roll pins and that integrated trigger guard looks better

I didn’t want to buy anything I might regret later. Cali prices.. stripped lower was $184 after taxes and fees.

They had FDE X15s in stock, but this was what I wanted. I called ahead and they’d just sold the last M4E1 yesterday, so went down and put an order in.

Impulse control isn’t my strongest attribute when it comes to certain things.

Tell me about it.. online looks like they’re $105, not including shipping to FFL, taxes or DROS fees. LGS sells them for $130, so $25 isn’t much to keep that money in my community. Not a chain store, just a single location and they’re an Aero dealer.

$184 is out the door price, after the govt. takes their blood.

Ordered AR Maglock Gen 4 with kingpin to be CA compliant. I was really on the fence between featureless or fixed mag, in the end I think the beauty of an AR platform is the endless customization and modular setup. Not having the evil features like a pistol grip, forward grip and collapsible stock really doesn’t make it a worthwhile thing for me. That’s the appeal. Otherwise I’d buy another M1A.

Should be fun. Any suggestions on things a complete and total noob should read? Resources? I’m assuming I’m going to need some special tools at some point.

Do it! My range uses them on all of their full auto rentals.

Mine came with a muzzle break quick attachment device (twist on/off). I bought a few flash hider versions to throw on a few different AR's.

Because our attorney General believes herself to be a law maker, you can't a new AR in my state. It has to have existed before 2016. If you want an AR with all the scary features, you are going to pay out the nose.

You should definitely not get an 80% lower then. I definitely don't recommend you get an 80% lower and then not tell anybody about it.

It is definitely not something any layman with a file can accomplish in an hour. no sir.
