Ya know TBH, id be scared of running them on a featureless or RAW too. I know some LEO's know their laws but, alot dont. I dont ever want to put myself in that situation.

Suck i lost all of them in a tragic accident on the delta a few years ago. Something about cleaning your equipment on the open water is just so refreshing.

I’m not sure if I’d run them myself, I probably would but I’d keep paperwork showing purchase date on hand. In the legal system I’d like to think they’d have to prove a normal capacity mag was obtained illegally, but I think the reality is that it’d be me trying to prove that I’m not a felon. Not necessarily worth it for me personally. There are ways around the laws that don’t leave me wanting, like 10 rd mag couplers and basically allow for a 20 rd setup. Just not the same way other states have it.

In some states the coupling of mags is illegal and they’re also limited to 10 rds. Could be worse. We’re not the most oppressed state and my county allows CCW for regular folks; so I’m feeling lucky compared to others in CA and other states.

So, it turns out all intermediate length gas tubes are not all the same length. Just need a longer gas tube, isn't sticking into the BCG, compared it to my other .308's, uhh, duh. Oh well, but it's the gas tube roll pin I have the most trouble with on any build.... New proper sized tube flying in the mail now, will update. Thanks again to all, none of my friends shoot, so it's great to have you guys here, thanks.
