No, I'm looking for how tall to make the risers fit my face. AR needs to be taller. My other rifles have stocks with a drop at the comb. AR does not. If that makes any sense.

There’s no universal way for a magnified optic. The common height over bore for magnified optics on an AR is 1.4 (iron sights height) to 2.?? inches. Usually it’s a trial an error thing depending on your cheek weld. Most cantilevers get you pretty close. I’ve used a .55 inch 20 moa riser with low rings as well and have came out ok.

The average height for a scope mount on an AR15 is 1.5”.

You can also get 1.93”. That puts your optic pretty heigh but if it fits you better then go for it. Just remember your you will have a lot of height over bore at close range.

The C to C of bore to scope is 2.75 inches. Bell of scope is ~1/2" over the barrel.

    That looks pretty high already.
These are regular “medium height” rings, perfect for regular rifles but very low for the AR.

And then this is the replacement AR cantilever setup that’s 1.59”.

Thanks. Mine is 1 1/4 still too low for me. My face is scrunched against the stock and slimline muffs grind against it. I may have to research cantilever mounts. The scope could be just a little more forward.
