Ya, a lot of people make a big deal about staking, and honestly it's not a big deal, but proper assembly torque is a big deal.

Only problem I have had with it is that the firing pin retaining pin comes loose sometimes, causing the carrier to not go into battery.

PSA has been out of stripped lowers for about a week, maybe a little more. Does anyone know what kind of wait im looking at till they get some in or made or whatever? Another thing i was wondering about was the reviews on their site. Im assuming that they filter all of the bad reviews if there are any. Any thoughts on that? The reason I say that is because for the longest time there were only 25 on the stripped lower and then overnight it went to 37. Possible? Sure. But come on...

PSA lowers are spot on spec. I use them for all my builds now. Even my SBRs are PSA builds.

Any one using the Geissele SSA-E? I think I am going to get one for my 6.8SPC build.

What do you want your trigger group to do?

If you're looking for a dual stage trigger that is awesome, go for it.. Keep in mind that a dual stage has a longer reset stroke. I have a few SSA groups, and they are flawless in their performance.

If you want a truly awesome single stage, go with the Timney trigger pack. I have a couple of them and like them a lot.

You need to shoot both. It's the only way to figure out what you want.

I still have USGI triggers in my SBRs and beater rifles.

I have an SSA in one of my rifles and it is wonderful. Never tried the SSA-E so couldn't tell you much about it.

I have a Ruger SR-556 setup for predator hunting. Bought the base gun for $700 out the door while i worked there a few years ago.
