    Little helpful info from the Dead Center of Precision.

    Tall (LT660)
    Allows a 1/3 cowitness with the Iron Sights on M4 Carbine and AR-15 Flattops.

    Absolute (LT751)
    Provides absolute cowitness with the Iron Sights on M4 Carbine and AR-15 Flattops..

    Medium (LT660HK)
    Provides Lower 1/3rd Co-witness with iron sights when using HK Height iron sights.

    Short (LT661)
    QD Mount for Aimpoint Micro Sight. Gets the Micro down low to use on Shotguns, PS90's and AK's

    That looks pretty high already.
    These are regular “medium height” rings, perfect for regular rifles but very low for the AR.

    And then this is the replacement AR cantilever setup that’s 1.59”.

    Thanks. Mine is 1 1/4 still too low for me. My face is scrunched against the stock and slimline muffs grind against it. I may have to research cantilever mounts. The scope could be just a little more forward.

    Hello everybody :wave: I have been looking at AR’s and considering a few. I haven’t used one since the late 80’s but have wanted one for a while. I’m not up to date on all the new optics for them but that is another topic. The ones I have narrowed it down to are the Savage SMR 15 Recon, Springfield Saint (most likely the Victor) or the M&P M15 sport. I’m kinda leaning more toward the Saint but any input is welcome. I know from a little reading in here most of you it seems build your own
