AR-15 BS Thread

I got these boxes of .30-30 with a Marlin lever gun. In today's market, I could sell my .30-30 ammo and probably get a used Glock 19.

 

They're legal.

Just way too damn expensive for peasants like us.

Generally, I'm just trying to stock up on 6.5 Grendel and 150 grain .30-06, as most of the plinking ammo comes from overseas (military surplus from PPU, Wolf or Barnaul). My Grendel likes Hornady 123 grain ELD-M and SST. I haven't had much luck with Federal Fusion 120 grain and I need to try the box of American Eagle 120 grain OTM I have.

 

Dat .45-70 tho

 

I thought about selling my 30-30 but then I would be with one less gun. I could probably get more for the ammo than I can for the rifle!

My favorite cartridge, TBH. My deer rifle is my Grendel, but if I could find some factory 150 grain .30-06 Hornady for my M1, I would use that for fun.

 

Good luck finding another. They're in HIGH demand.

 

Good, maybe I can fetch more than the $250 I paid for it in ‘96! But the 45-70 ain’t goin’ nowhere.

 

I got offered $700 for my Marlin. I got it as part of a trade and I would say I've got about $350 invested in it. I've always wanted one, so I can't part with it.

 

Who knows? With another AWB looming around the corner, lever guns may be the future of "non-semi-auto" rifles.

I’m working on an AR308 build, I was wondering if anyone here have any experience on BSF barrels?

 

Sniper's Hide likes them, so I would assume they're good to go. Just keep in mind that QC is a little down all across the board with manufacturers trying to keep up with demand.

Says they're DPMS pattern, too.

Mag isn't big enough.

 

I want a D60. Anyone here shot one? Was wondering how reliable they are.

 

They're 100% reliable. I don't have one, though.
