Yeah we are leaning in that direction since my Grandfather worked on the Gemini/Apollo/Saturn/Shuttle Space program from 1950-1990

    Dah!

I can't tell you how many times I've considered a GSD. I'm a Doberman man at heart though. I love GSD's though. Trained / watched one for a few months for a friend while she was on vacation. She picked on on everything my Doberman Fletcher did and that's why I love service dogs.

I got my GSD because I couldn’t find a doby. A friend of mine used to breed Dobermans but no longer did when I wanted one. Chase is a great dog, so no regrets.

Anyone has experience with silver solder to “permanently “ attached a flash hider? I just hate the idea of a welded pin but I want to complete my M4gery and the 16” barrel just looks goofy with the carbine/F2 sight

Here's my little stinker, Heidi. She has a massive amount of energy.

I lost my male over a year ago and my girlfriend found her for me.

They are hard to find and expensive if you find a good breeder. Your picture makes me want to search out a GSD brother for her.

Anyone using a Bear Creek Arsenal side charging upper? Any issues with fitment or performance?

I am helping my buddy's GF build one for him. It's chambered in 7.62x39 though. I only had a few minutes to mess with it. It couldn't light the primers on the shitty cheap steel surplus ammo,,, but this is common on 7.62x39 ARs. I have some BearX extended firing pins due in yesterday now today, so hopefully that will fix it.
As far as the side charger? first time I messed with it (UNLOADED!! ) in the basement, the knob slammed back and pinched the side of my hand in the upper. Little bleeding but no big deal,,, reason I mention is, I am a skinny guy, I couldn't imagine chambering with fat hands and sausage links for fingers. Overall quality is meh,,, and while I have some boutique safe queen ARs, I am fine with a PSA AR for farm duty,,, so I'm not entirely snobby.

I've been happy with the Vortex Viper HS LR 4-16 x44mm (older model by now I'm guessing) on my Savage 10T.

The 10.5” barrel works with this rail, I’ll probably order another identical rail since I have both 10.5” 556 and 300BLK barrels, I’ll just get a caliber band to wrap the handguard to denote caliber difference.
There’s a very slight clearance issue when the can threads on but all I need to do is hit it with sandpaper or a polishing wheel.
