Yup, it's a logarithmic scale. 3dB is 2x the sound power. 10dB is 10x the sound power. But weirdly 10dB only sounds 2x as loud even though the intensity is 10x.

Diemaco D next to the Anchor Harvey Forge mark. I am no expert but the way I understand is diemaco/colt canada are seperate business entities from colt USA so to speak. That way if one went bankrupt the other could still succeed. Because of this diemaco/colt canada part are basically unobtainium in the US.

Do they have different specifications in the way the forges are milled.

 

I don't believe so. It is made in Canada to their military specifications, which allegedly use tighter QC than ours.

It's mainly just the difficulty and how rare they are. They are considered Milspec+, but mainly used for clone builds.

 

Where would a 12 Gauge Shot Gun blast range on this scale?

 

Not sure on the upper I think its the same. The British l119 is different I think. The Canadian rifles have different parts in general though.

 

Any recommendations on a scope? Was looking at 1-6 vortex strike eagle. But is there something comparable that cost less?

For sure. Looking at that or the primary arms 1-6. Both are about the same price. Might wait for a sale or something

 

Primary arms and Swampfox optics are really the only 2 that I know of, this YouTube channel has good video and info regarding different options on the market.
