Trust me I love this thread also.....just don't like getting challenged, when I know I'm right. plus, being accused of suggesting illegal stuff when nothing of the sort happened.

Sorry to turn the thread sideways for a minute....forgive me.

    Back to the regular thread.

I'm getting something different. the Howard leights dont fit my head. I got a funky jaw line so they have a little gap behind the lower part of my ear.

not trying to bust anyones balls but this is what started it. stating you are in possession of NFA items illegally. either you are lying to sound cool or you really do have the items are are not that bright by telling everyone about it.

and then this. if you have fired both then you can tell a difference. Even the desk jockeys I issue M16's/M4's to can tell the differences. Not sure if you were just being vague or truly dont know.

As for the RDS there is one of two things wrong:
    1. its on backwards
    2. the sight is facing the right direction but your cantilever mount is backwards.

    how it should look

if its an el cheapo and thats the way it was made then disregard and carry on.

a pic of me test shooting my ar 15 after outfitting with with some magpul stuff and putting an eotech and a.r.m.s folding front sight/gasblock and matech rear sight.

the ar is a kaiser defense lower with generic lower parts kit and a stag upper(DI) with bcm gunfighter charging handle

also the muzzle brake is the rainier arms xtc iirc

i enjoy it. it kinda forces you to hold the rifle like they do in the magpul videos.

i feel like i can handle recoil better with(not that there is much to begin with especially with my xtc muzzle break)

I always thought it was a good idea on shorter barreled ar's, just never shot one with it.

Those definitely will make you hold the rifle with arm fully extended and thumb over the top.

Oh geeze another full on AR tread derailment! To many "know it's alls" and "bullshiters" in here anymore for my liking. I'll leave you boys to your arguing and cock fighting while I shoot and enjoy my rifle. Unsubscribed. But before I go a couple pics of me at a 3 gun match a couple weeks ago, the reason I build and enjoy my gun, not to read a bunch of guys arguing about em online.

x2. nothing like that around my area :(

I have been seriously considering taking a road trip to attend some carbine courses though.

I really like the looks of this place.
