    I'm right there with you, but this is barret. They're very picky about quality, and probably more picky about manufacturers selling their products on the side. Besides that, they're smart. We make their handguards and lowers, but not the uppers. Almost like they don't want people making underground/semi counterfeit Barrets... Which was my plan. :(

    I was literally joking with my boss about stealing them the whole time I was smashing them in the press. I'd say "nothing looks wrong with this one" and then stuck it in my pocket with the 2 others. Then he reminded me that they use a proprietary anti rotation system, so without the upper they're kinda useless.

    I use old vinyl magnetic signs, cut to fit the jaws. Works great and the price is right.

    I’ve got some 1/4” thick aluminum plate that would work great, I just hate cutting aluminum!

    There is a trick to it if using a cutoff wheel. Still a pita but cuts way faster

    If you are using a cut off wheel keep spraying it with Wd40. As soon as the cutting slows spray it again. It keeps the cut off wheel from getting gummed up with the aluminum and you can cut right through it
