I've heard it called a Big Fucking Deal, which I agree with. They're almost as good as a suppressor for being able to run a brake when you're alone but not have it concuss bystanders when there's company.

The wardens have been discontinued which caused price on the muzzle devices that work with them and also the wardens to jump in price. Avg price is now $190 if in stock anywhere or $200 in the gun community market.
That being said, I've used a warden, kvp linear comp and a slr linear comp all on my 11.5 in and it does help a little with concussion to you and those around you.

I’m really trying to decide between building a pistol or a DMR. I had thought I may also build an AR10 as a DMR but haven’t thought much about it in a while. I typically try to maintain common ammo for simplicity. I also have a 270& 308 bolt actions that can fill that roll

A pic to keep the thread fed. And plug: just moved some optics around so now I have a spare PA micro red dot on an LRP mount if anyone is interested. I have a Vortex Ranger 1-4 and Midwest mount on the way.

Ah, Memorial Day sale. Been looking at some Streamlight and Surefire lights as well.

I'm a fan of streamlight based on performance and price ratio. All of mine have never missed a beat and have plenty of rounds on them. As lights go, I really believe you pay for the surefire name if you go that route. Just my .02

I have both brands in various forms and agree. I really just look at Streamlight now.

Form 1 can is dedicated, but not integral.

I've put the upper on an sbr lower, its almost too small to feel right as a rifle.

For those of you with the Larue UU kit @cubie and @JimBeam what is the purpose of the simulated lower reciever part with the grip and trigger installed into it. I am missing something here. I wish you could pick which part you want as I wouldn't need the stock. How is the BCg that comes with the kit?

Nothing other than it can be used to test out different triggers you may buy.

That's the only thing I could figure out. It looks to be a solid kit with everything needed. Now I just have to decide if I still want to continue on the pistol route or build a 16" rifle but I already have one of them.

@Casper66 - you won’t be disappointed with the LaRue. Mine shoots great, no issues with quality or the BCG.
