Does Sig make decent AR's? I was at Wal-Mart last night and they had one for $915. It had all the magpul furniture on it. I've been thinking about getting one in a few months, nothing fancy just to shoot shit in the back country.

so it can go either way then? bc all the pics i saw it was different.

MRP has it one way and that army dude has it the "other way"

wouldnt it make the left and right adjustments inverted?

I know the mount for the red dot can be mounted either way. So it doesn't really matter. It just looks funny the way he had it mounted.

Dad's friend has two AR-15's, on a standard rock river arms with a slide fire stock and one a Colt from bass pro, still new to this scene, mostly grew up around classic guns but im wanting to get into the tactical stuff like AR-15's ect. Anyone have a brand prefferance, got to use both RR and Colt and the Colt felt tougher and built better imo, the slide fire on the RR was pretty sweet but took a little bit to get used to.

colt AR-15, didnt get a pic of the RR with the slide fire.

Just got the stock mounted on my AR build. Next is the upper receiver! Ended up going with a UTG buffer extension tube with a Magpul MOE carbine stock. i like it! I just have to get that important piece up top done. Thinking about going head and just buying a complete upper instead of piecing one together. Looking at some of Bravo Companies upper or possibly a Vltor upper if I want to build it up. not sure which route to go!

I can vouch for LMT uppers, rock solid and 1800+ rounds though her shooting almost exclusively russian garbage (tula, wolf, wpa, brown bear).....all she does is ask, nay, beg for more
I run her dirty and lubed up most of the time. Just cleaned her and she looks like new again.....but she begs to be dirty again

Del-Ton makes their own stuff. I have their stuff in my rifle and it meets all my needs. Great quality for the money

    sweet! thanks!!!
One question that I do have is, with the Del ton uppers (complete) the shortest length I have seen is 16". I am wanting to stay at the shorter 11.5" length if possible. Maybe I am looking in the wrong places? Is there a shorter length Del Ton complete set out there?

This is all a learning process as I go. First time building a gun.
