Got the rail in for the 17 Designs folder. Waiting on the barrel(will be a 10.5") and CH to show up and then it will be sold or traded as I've realized what an impulse buy it was

 

I may have just cost myself some money. Since I'm going camping tomorrow......I just wanted to see......and now I may keep it

Why are these so attractive. I love them

 

And here is my "Colt A1.5". The in between model made during the mid-80s marketed as the " Colt Sporter II". A1 Upper/Lower with the A2 handguards. With the all important Stoner Bayonet.

 

Neat. Colt loved/loves to burn through all their parts before moving on to the new upper designs. Mine is a LE6551.

Good test, would have liked to see how Breakthrough Cleans CLP would have compared with that group.

 

Just stumbled across this and found it amusing....probably something my dad was issued back in the day.

 

Anyone have a hand guard like this laying around that they don’t want?

 

I agree this test could have included many more products

 

Always liked Breakthrough CLP myself. Alway have a rag in a tin handy with in on to just to quick wipe downs.

 

I've had good luck with Breakthough Cleans Grease on AK's. I use/like their other products as well.
