Just added the sylvan stock folder. Adds a bit more length than is like but it seems to function nicely Screenshot_20220304-145214_Instagram.jpg

I really like the Arisaka bodies, have one on my 74 with surefire dual white/IR head for night time shenanigan’s and it’s great.

Hey guys, need some advice. I have a 14.5" barrel and a 14" handguard and going to pin and weld the griffin plan A system for my silencer. The problem is that the handguard is about 5mm to long for the mount to sit flush.

My question is if a crush washer is if a crush washer should be used with a silencer mount and pin and weld? I've been trying to research it, but getting answers for both ways. If you are supposed to, I think that would give me the extra length I need. If not, I will have to shave down the handguard or purchase the shorter model. The other option is a JP enterprise jam but.

    What do you guys think?

Never use a crush washer with a suppressor mount. Crush washers do not "crush" evenly and can thus cause the mount to not be aligned to the barrel correctly. This can cause bullet impacts with baffles or the endcap. Shims are okay for timing and such, but not crush washers.
