I have been shooting my 12.5 a lot and i think I am ready for a suppressor. I have a warcomp flash hider and I wanted to know real world experience from those who have a surfire RC2 and Mini 2 on a similar length barrels.

I like the mini 2 over RC2, but mini 2 is intended for 14.5 or over.

    Thanks!

I got enough paint left over to paint another rifle or two.

Is the camo paint high heat? How does the barrel hold up?

It’s not high heat. It’s just regular Krylon Camo paint. It’s my truck gun, so I expect it to wear.

.223 / 5.56 suppressors are shit IMO due to the sonic boom still being loud AF. Better off just getting a .30 cal can and calling it a day. You could run 5.56 through it and then if you wanted to shoot with real suppression you can throw on a 300 BO upper and run subs. If you want the quietest .30 cal can there is, the CGS Hyperion currently holds that title.

Have you looked at the new Dead Air Sierra 5? If not it's worth a look.

It’ll only get better with wear, it’ll just blend the layers. If it all wears off? You are the man! And, you of course now how to repaint.

Have you found any of the paint wearing off on your hands or clothes/gear when slung against your body?

Some spicy boys and a couple mags got delivered today. PSA had em for 75cpr a couple of weeks ago. Cheaper than going rate for fmj
