Things are progressing. IMHO 556 really shouldn’t be giving you any issues with a blade brace. The 6.5 Grendel gets poky after a mag or two and would prefer something better.40447981-2894-4DE5-BA03-7EE21EAEA145.jpg

Added a VLTOR SP-1 carbine buffer system and JP bolt to the Colt LE6920. Also has a Geissele G2S trigger on it, so still pretty simple and classic looking with some nice internals too.

Thinking about buying/building a 14.5 P/W upper or re-barrelling my 11.3. Don't feel like dealing with NFA stuff in the future, and I never shoot the 11.3 as is.

HAHAHAHA do people really have that bad of aim?!?!?!!?! Don't get me wrong I like the flared magwell on my billet AR but I have plenty of other guns (AKs, MP5 clone, etc) without a flared magwell and I manage to load them just fine. That thing is just ridiculous. Poster child for more is not always better.

Guess this applies to titanrocket customers too:

Gonna rebuild one of my 16" uppers but can't decide between a 14 or 15" rail. Does anyone have a 14/16 setup they could post to give me some reference?

not the best pics, most are from when I was sizing up a new case but here’s my 16” faxon gunner barrel with a 13” BCM MCMR handguard (which actually measures 13.4”). I like alittle barrel poking out plus it saves weight.
