The ATF doesn't make laws the courts will spank them in the end. we all are 2 Amendment members. it has nothing to to with FPC or a customer of Maxim Defense.

 

You and I know this, but there are plenty of turds in govt that think otherwise.

 

I’d love to build one but tbh I know I’d probably be better off gathering more parts and finishing what I have instead of something new besides never have enough of some things

 

I’ll pay the FPC $30, even if it’s for short term braced pistols.

The whole thing is ridiculous. The only reason SBRs are even regulated at all is to close a loophole in a ban on handguns that never happened. The ban was withdrawn and the loophole closer left in.
In the original spirit of the regulation, anything that made a handgun more like a rifle would be a good thing.

 

I mean I don't disagree but are you willing to fight this while facing 10+ years in Federal Prison? So far the courts have been working in our favor, especially the 5th Circuit(I believe that is the one). Wish they would put a nation wide induction, but they seem reluctant to do that.

Like I said I don't disagree. The ATF should be abolished and they absolutely agree they cannot make laws. NFA should be repealed too.

 

On the bright side with several injunctions in place it is very doubtful that the ATF is going to enforce anything regarding braces until the court cases play out. No way they wanna risk accidentally prosecuting one of the millions of Americans that are currently protected by the injunctions and the legal Turkey shoot that would ensue.

I’m a member of 2 of the covered organizations and honestly am shopping for another braced pistol right now (sig MPX). I’m going to sit back, keep legally using my braces, and see how this all plays out.

My A2 build was just a take-off parts kit on an AR lower. Same with my A1 build. Both were full auto police guns. Our family friend has dealer to dealer relationship with a Class III guy. Departments retain the full-auto lowers and surplus the rest. I’m waiting for an early carry-handle M4 upper for a SBR build. Fun hobby!
