Damn out of state transfer fee is 45 bucks... After dros it cost as much as a lower in store with a dros..

 

All Ar type rifles are generally good. Just remember you get what you pay for just like trucks. You can take a Colt and be just as good with it as any of these other rifles you can buy. Stats only get you so far on the AR. Several thousand dollars can get you a few more yards and better ballistics but remember out to 600 yards the bullet will be moving 1500 fps or less no matter what you shoot. Unless you build rounds. And this will damage your weapon. Best weapons in the world if there American made. Relied on one for my life on many occasions. It never failed me not once. Opinions are opinions and I'm not trying to start anything but, they are more dependable than any AK. Little lube and cleaning its a performer in any condition. I have many of these weapons my favorite is my SIG. Happy shooting.

Assembled a new lower last night for my 3rd build. Cant decide if i want to build or buy an upper. Just cant seem to find a complete upper with just what i want on it.

for my third rifle Id like a (other than a NFA item) 14.5" light weight middy from BCM with a pinned PWS FSC556. Ive had a lower and a BCG in the safe for around a year now just waiting

 

Where do you live? 45 is actually cheap for so cal. Ill transfer it for 20 but I'm in corona which may be a drive for you. You won't find it much cheaper anywhere else I'm afraid.

Honestly im not sure yet. I dont like the standard fixed front sight stuff. I'm not a big fan of quad rails. I like the modular handguards.

On another note. I just signed up for a %80 build party and ordered a Billet %80 lower. now I gotta figure out a logo to have etched on it and what color I want to anodize it. Will be more expensive than an off the shelf lower, but realllly cool to have your own logo on a lower.

 

a few gun shops around atlanta do transfers for free...down here in south ga they all want like 30$ sucks pretty bad :/
