    Just to give a rep to Aimpoint, if you guys can afford this I highly recommend. I got the Comp M4, and love it. I have shot the Eotech, Acog and a few others, none compare to Aimpoint IMO.

    The differences between the Comp M2 and the M4 is the location of the battery. Its high on the M2 and they tucked it lower on the M4. The size of the red dot mil is smaller on the M4 which helps with longer distances.

    Other than that I believe they are the same. Feel free to chime in if you have different data.

    The M2 uses a little 3V battery as the M4 uses a standard AA battery. the M4's battery location can be either on the top or bottom.

    Not to say we shouldn't be vigilant but I'd like to see a source. The bill cited is from 2007 and the 110th congress. It's a dead bill. I've seen this passed around like wildfire and as far as I can tell it's just fear mongering.
