AR-15 BS Thread

Well, I learned a bit of a hard lesson on my first purchase, but live and learn. I have since figured out that Academy Sports restocks on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I went in this morning at 7:30, they open at 8:00, and found two guys already in line. I was just showing up to try and find ammo, but I got lucky. They had five rifles show up this morning and I snagged one. I picked up the Windham SRC rifle for below MSRP and 500 rounds of Hornady without a fuss. I'm headed to another store tomorrow to pick up some more ammo.

You can still find stuff, just have to be patient. Something I didn't do the first time around.

correct, but what is their turn around time? there is ROHG industries (i think that was the name). theyve been really really busy and been taking orders and shipping out the same week! unlike many others its backorder... loooong wait.... or their suppliers are delaying the time

I have my AR... For now. Until the Gubment comes and takes it away.

 

I ordered my upper from them, they would've shipped it Friday but I won't be home so they put my address on a upper and delayed shipping till the 19th or 20th

 

Im trying to find a daniel defense 16 inch barrel. m4 profile, not lw. i know, ridiculous time to be looking, but if you have any ideas

what allows a piece to go full auto/burst. Besides the BCG..... is there something during the install of the LPK that will allow it? or is there a LPK for full auto/burst?

 

There is a different Fire Control Group to actuate the autosear. A "Civilian" lower doesn't have the hole drilled for the autosear.

If you're interested in committing a serious felony, absolutely. Otherwise you're paying $5-10k+ for a Pre-'86 ban full-auto and paying the $200 tax. Or there's always option to enlist!

Do some research on autosears and you'll find some schematics and pictures and stuff...the knowledge you seek, find you will :yoda:
