    Check out my sig...
Lookin for ideas for my second build. Just picked up a riflegear lower (new release for this company, I got #23). I was originally going to go with a 16" 6.8 from ARP but, since Im moving to the LA area, dont think Im gonna be able to get out hog hunting at all. Was thinking about going with a 9mm but, other then cheap ammo, dont think it would be really practical for anything else. The big bore stuff looks like fun but I wont be able to hand load.

Was thinking I could save up for a trust and go for a SBR in 9mm, 5.56 or 6.8.... Just to have something a little out of the ordinary.

I currently have a 16" noveske reece upper on a JD lower.

    Opinions????

I donno if it's a good idea but apparently people in Cali get a shot barrel less than 14.5 and permanently pin weld a big ass muzzle break... But it's what I have heard... Take it with a grain of salt...

Pinning is requried in all states to make it an "official" 16" barrel to get away from the ATF tax sstamp requirement.

To have an SBR you need the local sheriff to sign off on it but in CA thats unlikely to happen. Looks like the only way to get around this requirement is to get a trust going but I still need to do the research to determine if CA allows SBR's even with a trust.

That she does. I ended up just replacing the barrel at the small arms facility a few weeks ago because it was bent. It failed the gauging test, must've been from a hard ass landing on a jump. But now, my groups are even tighter than they were before :D

Everyone bitches about my AR-15. It's a Delton DTI-15. So far, I've gotten about 100 rounds through her and not a single problem. This AR-15 is made in the USA and is very high quality. I don't see any fit and finish problems with it. I'm very happy with my purchase. Haters gonna hate, right? :p

Same here... When I'm at the range I'll go through maybe a few 100 rounds of .223... I mean things are supposed to go through 1000s of rounds before cleaning right???

I clean my guns thoroughly after every range session. I'm used to it being in the Marine Corps. Whenever we had down time or went back to the rear, guess what's top priority above everything else? WEAPONS MAINTENANCE!
