I'm having an issue with mine. I just opened the package on two of them and my initial impressions were that they load like shit. I read a bunch of reviews and no one else seems to have issues with them. But whenever I load them if you don't load the bullet exactly right it won't feed into the magazine. Like with pmags even if part of the bullet is hanging over the edge and you push another bullet into the magazine then the bullet under it will slide into place and let you keep on loading. On these lancer mags even if just a little of the bullet is hanging off they will hang up. Like this...

I don't know if maybe because they are brand new they are a little stiff and will correct themselves? I sent Lancer an email so we will see

Daniel Defense has em in stock every once in a while.

Not the best time to buy right now. Honestly wait 6 months to a year to get one and youll be able to choose from the cream of the crop for cheap when all the panic buyers sell theirs

I'm looking at a carbine course and it looks like I need a chest rig or magazine pouches. Anyone got some recommendation on chest rigs and gear?

Not sure what your price range is, but I am going to be getting these:

    Plate Carrier:
    http://lbtinc.com/index.php/modular-large-sentinel-releasable-plate-carrier.html

    AR Mag pouches:
    http://www.hsgi.us/proddetail.php?prod=HSG-X2R-TACO&cat=33

    Pistol Mag pouches:
    http://www.hsgi.us/proddetail.php?prod=HSG-PTACO&cat=33

    Belt:
    http://lbtinc.com/vest-h-gear-carriers/cass/comfort-armor-suspension-system-long-3164.html

I will be getting a litany of other stuff to go with it like the dump pouch, holster (havent decided on a cross chest holster or on the belt yet), first aid pouch for the back, insulated hydration system, etc.

This stuff is pretty pricey, but I have been really reading up on this stuff cause I am not far off from purchasing and all the forums I have trolled reading up on it, the guys over in Afghan that have these PC's all say the same thing, they are the best on the market. I think I will take the word of the guys that wear these all day everyday.

The one I wore in the early 90's sucked compared to whats on the market now.

    Just my .02

Ouch a bit out of my price range. I'm looking to keep around 100. I don't need a plate carrier.

kydex mag pouches. Check ebay if you're on a budget. I think you can get them for around 20-30 bucks.

Back pockets on jeans work well too
