Was reading that today. Saddening.

Oly arms and Noveske are taking a stand by making sales of parts/rifles even across the board by limiting state and law to what citizens are limited to.

We will see how that works.

I killed a lot of Afghans with my trusty, simple, Army standard Colt M-4 with the standard green tip ammo, but I did use P-Mags and not the standard steel magazines. I never had a single misfire and in one engagement I fired 296 rounds well above the standard load of 210 for an infantryman.

I don't know about the other manufactures - I only know my Colt M4 saved and took many lives.

I've never heard of umbrella corporation before....except of course from Resident Evil.
Are they quality? I just started looking into them but if you guys have the skinny I would be interested in hearing about them.

Yes, I have a UCWRC lower, and it's top notch as far as quality. They are one of the few companies that lay out where they get their stuff.

The LE6920 is a very fine rifle. Today other manufacture's have taken Colt's lead and produce equally fine rifles. With manufacture's such as (in no particular order) BCM, Daniel Defense, LMT, LWRC, Noveske, and Knight Armament, any choice is a great one. JMHO

 

I just saw ammo that was just announced in stock on Natchez.com for 12.99 a box go out of stock within 3 minutes!!!

 

As far as I got with it this morning.... I need to dig the UBR out of the safe and await my trigger group.

 

I almost purchased a UC grip but the angle looked funny to me.

 

ive got a smith and wesson m&p 15or. its a good entry level gun. or stands for optics ready,so no sights are on it. ive got it topped with an eotech. its great in the dark woods where i live,usually shootin yotes around dusk/dawn. new york just passed the stricktest gun laws in the nation so im glad ive got one w all the goodies allready.any body have ten round clips they want to get rid of or any other assesories leme know.

 

It's the same as a MOE -K but with a larger palm swell. It works better for NTCH shooting, gets rid of the chicken wing syndrome.

 

I finally found a barrel last night on StoneFire Arms. It is a special run of the Noveske Afghan 5.56mm 14.5" barrel that has a 1.9" gas block seat instead of the Noveske standard 1.0" gas block seat (emailed to confirm this). I am going with an Adams Arms piston kit, so the 1.9" MILSPEC gas block seat is a must. Apparently they were made special for a company that went out of business. It isn't exactly what I wanted - a 16" N4 cold hammer forged barrel - but I was having the hardest time finding the 16" N4, so I figured I'd pull the trigger on this. The stainless steel will afford a little better accuracy than I would have gotten, but at the presumed sacrifice of durability; I suppose I can live with that. The biggest sacrifice was the need to weld on the flash hider. I will just weld on the Surefire MB556K muzzle break and be done with it - that's what I wanted anyways, and it will allow me to attach a suppressor when I get around to filling out the paperwork.

Now all I need to do is find a SureFire muzzle break that isn't $200 and get all of my other orders in so I can put my rifle together.
