I'd think I'd get whoever built that carrier to make it right.

Such an awesome caliber. If I could find a PSL and some ammo, I'd give my left nut for it.

Please explain: Gun trust and why? I am just ignorant of this matter but it sounds intriguing.

SG Ammo has an email notification system but when that email goes out you better be quick with the CC info.

Huh? I'm pretty sure cleo still has to sign for it. My understanding is that with a trust it can be left to someone that's all.

    the basics of a trust:
it doesn't require fingerprinting or sign off,
it also allows people on the trust to be in possession of NFA items (that are registered to the trust),
and it's left to someone, not tied up in court if you die.

    This.

Much easier to purchase NFA items but I can add any firearm to it. If I die everything is just passed with no court record or legal fees. Was advised to even add "ammo" nothing specific but enough to have anything I own just passed along super easy

You can get tax stamp through the trust as well, so all the members don't individually have to purchase iirc. Correct?
I just figured I'd rather look my local sheriff in the eye and know we are on same page and demonstrates good will. Also not really any close friends or relatives into guns. My bro in law is leo and we shoot some together so I may discuss a little more with him.

I just looked at Gunbroker for the PSL. Prices are up but not enough for me to sell. Plus, I wouldn't screw over another TW dude.

I gotta get on the Jim Fuller GSR package train for the PSL.

The tax stamp is issued to the trust. Anyone you name on it may be in possession of NFA items even if you are not there.

It's not getting around anything. It just gives you a little more breathing room with NFA items and makes everything super clear in the event of your death. Not having relatives into guns this would makes things much easier on them. It's a to each his own thing. I had a good experience and thought I'd pass it along

Yeah thats the other problem, im not going to waste money on it no matter how badly i want it. I had the chance multiple times (same as an rpk) and i didnt go for it, so now i have to deal with it. Im happy with what i have, and all my 'want' money is going to all the crap i keep finding on this GD awesome site.

This is incorrect. NFA items are passed to heirs on a form 5, no tax involved.

i think it has to be done through a lawyer or notary, not sure though.
