    The small change in radius is a HUGE change in Area.
    A= Pi*R*R
    50mm= 7853.98
    56mm=9852.03
    difference=1998
    or
    25% more light than the 50mm(raidus).
    oops. those numbers I used replaced Radius for Diameter... new numbers coming shortly

    50mm Diameter = 25mm Radius, A= 1963
    56mm Diameter = 28mm Radius, A=2463
    Difference= 500

    Still 25% more light gathering than the 50mm.

    You're welcome. Now all I have to do is get me one once the rush is over and the price drops again.

    Nice shooting and a nice rig you have there! :drool:

    Yes. 56mm lens is worth it.

    Edit: I thought I had a 56mm lens, but I have a 50mm.

    I own a Bushnell Elite Tactical 6-24x50 FFP with G2 DMR reticle. Worth every penny, and IMO, the best scope out there at a $1000 budget

    Just got 2 10.5" Spikes LE Uppers and put them on some AP lowers that I put together. Got the pink Magpul furniture for the wife, she loves it. Getting the uppers was hard, with the "stuff" going on in the US, AR gear trickled to a halt pretty much here in Canada. But lucky for me, I got them at pre-craziness prices, and Spikes shipped North.
