    i'd say either go with:
    a) NoDak Spud retro lower (they have several styles to match the upper)
    or
    2) billet lower like CMT, NorthTech, or the fancy-pants, sick looking Seekins

Its funny you ask, I have a complete colt competition HBAR 20" with a flat top receiver too. I have the A2 carry handle on it though. So its almost an exact copy of what I would be building.

The Nodak is probably the best option, didn't think about that, thanks for the extra brain cells.

I may go this route too. I will keep this in mind as well. Might do the Aero stripped lower instead. I may sell this one.

from someone with a legit colt m16a1 (sans fun switch of course)...i'd want to try and build a full colt retro rifle

but thats just me because my training/range centers around patrol use and I have little use for a precision target rifle

I drove down to the K&M Shooting Facility in Panama City Beach on Tuesday to do some shooting. I had the time of my life! It's an amazing range; I was like a kid in a candy store. Great shooting and even better company. I got some consistent hits on steel at 600m with my recent AR-15 build too!

Hunter, we're (www.roninstrategies.com) hosting a precision class down at K&M during the first weekend in October - I believe the dates are going to be 10/4 through 10/6. SHould be a good time at a great facility.

Anyways I'm picking up my lower tomorrow. Got it on sale for 60 bucks. It's an Anderson machining. Going to mate it to the psa 18" upper.
