My buddy who is in ODA 392 is running a SCAR-L. I will say 6.8 is better than 5.56 and even 7.62X51 when it comes to SBRs, its just most units don't have the money for the ammo.

walking and shooting, plinking from a bench, shooting from the hood of a truck?

gotcha, I was just curious about the bipod and vert grip.

for piggys, I'd personally get a mounted light for it.

here's a pig that my pops got on our lease a few weeks back. 350lbs!

I have a 13.2" spikes on a 16" barrel. 2 of my buddies have 15"ers on their guns too. Work great for the way we shoot. Support hand hand arm fully extended with thumb pointing at target using a Magpul afg.

My first AR buy, just wanted a reliable traditional shooter. I have since put a scope on the handle. Have not sighted it in yet. That is coming up.

.223/5.56 Nato 16", 1x9 twist, M4 profile barrel, 6 position collapsable stock, A2 front site, fixed carry handle, Surplus Arms and Ammo lower with DTI (Deltron) internal parts and complete upper. So far I have two mags. One 20 round and one 30 round. Both are new stock.

Planning on building one mysself, soon as I get some more funds. Planning on selling a few guns first though.

I like the idea of a 15" to extend the sight radius and grip. plus I want to run my light in front of the sight, similar to what Larry Vickers preaches

EDIT: Anyone ever dealt with / had experience with Del-Ton? they have a barrel I want to order thats a good deal
