I just had the YHM put on my upper but haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. Looks great though :) Curious to hear other opinions on it.

    Very impressive but $135!!

That's a lot for a 2" piece of machined steel IMO

Quality costs money and this beast fights off every bit of muzzle rise. I have a PWS FSC556, but I have shot this and it is amazing.

Loud isn't necessarily a bad thing when you can't have a suppressor. Most of the louder brakes are the most effective at combatting recoil and muzzle rise. No one is really a bystander at a range, they're all shooting too haha.

Why does someone promoting building your own upper not have the ability to stake their own keys. Plus I don't think PSA has their own BCGs. Everything I have gotten from PSA has been milspec quality and worked. The one issue I had with them is I got the wrong roll pin for my forward assist on my .22lr project. I called them, spoke to them, and next day I had the proper pin.

PSA markets some BCGs as their own...they don't stay in stock long but they def have the logo on the side etc

doing my first bit of gunsmithing today. never done a free float before so we'll see how this goes lol. smooth as butter so far.

my buddy wanted his rifle free floated so he bought a troy 13" free float, low pro gas block, gas tube, magpul afg, magpul commercial stock, and magpul moe pistol grip.

only the armorers tool got delivered today, so i will be installing everything else when it arrives tomorrow. i will also throw up some more photos once i have everything together and dialed in.

as a thank you for helping him out, he gave me his carbine length quad rail, so now i finally have something on my windham weaponry AR until i decide what route i want to go with my free float.

also, for those of you in need of an armorers wrench, this tapco wrench is a damn BEAST! its not a cheap cast POS like others i have seen. its solid tooling steel and machined perfectly. well worth the $40 and im sure it will last a long time
