Cool deal. Side question for you, what is the deal with the structures all the way down the lane that runs across all the lanes???

Out in AZ, we don't have anything like that and I've seen them in other pictures and never knew what they were.

On another note, thanks for the suggestions of everyone on a BCG, I found that my problem was not a leaking gas key like I thought...turns out everyone's key leaks a little amount of air/gas as I tested a couple others and they all did the same thing (all from different guns and different manufactures).

So I've installed an adjustable gas block on my AR, hoping this will solve the over gas issues I've been having.

The range I go to has those structures also. They're baffle walls to cut down on the noise. The range I go to installed them because the rifle range is next to the trap shooting area and the high powered rifles would cause the wobbly tower to trip off and throw a clay pigeon. The baffle supposedly helped with that issue.

Details on how you rattle canned the AR pistol? Looks great! Thought about doing something like that on mine in either some kind of multi cam print or maybe just some grays to give it a distressed look.

That looks good. How are you masking it for the pattern?

I'm not the poster of the picture, but I know how he did it...

That's a sponge pattern. You can get sponges from places like walmart to hobby stores and then use them to sponge camo pattern onto the surface.

I painted my .308 rifle like that, lay down a base coat, use some shrubs from the area you live in to break the pattern up (if you want) then spar some paint on a paper plate and dip the sponge in it and apply to your gun. I followed that up with a mat clear finish for durability...

    Can they build in Canada?

Jamie, Most of your research will be on local/country laws, the AR is a fairly simple platform and just about everything is personal preference.

i built my lower. i bought a brass hammer and a punch set from brownells. then i watched a couple of youtube vids it was super simple. then i borrowed a castle nut tool from a guy i know who shops at the local gun store and installed my pistol buffer tube. ill probably buy a complete upper though. then i plan on getting a supressor

Any recomendations on a single point sling for an AR15? I want a bungee, probably with a pad and would like it to hang near shooting position. Also one for the AR10 single or duble, bungee with a pad. Thanks guys!

Doesn't have to be bungee, thought it would be more comfortable but definatley want it to hang in position.

FWIW My viking 2 point keeps the rifle right where I need it to easily swing up and into where my shoulder pocket is supposed to be...even with body armor and gear on

it's super easy to adjust as needed
