^^^^we all drink the toyota cool aid but we have reliability statistics to back it up. I have trouble believing the polymer difference between the moe angled handgrip and the STP or whatever it's called is worth it for most of us that go plinking once a month...

Reading through this thread may encourage me to someday finish my billet lower. All I have is an ALG ACT trigger for it so far. Will take donations :D

I saw that. It looks cool, but it'd have to be half the price for me to consider buying it. Mostly because I have a friend with a mill.

Why? You like rifles slapping you in the dick if you have to transition to a pistol or walk or move?

Satoshi, debadged, rear view mirror bracket, tail gate hose clamps, trimmed mud flaps.
I like the slings that can convert from 2 point to 1 point. Best of both worlds.

I'm trying to keep my gun pretty, last time I took her out I definitely felt the need for a angled foregrip.
I ordered one of these last night.

I wanted something that matched the new DD furniture on my V9 and the magpul stuff definitely would be out of place. Thoughts?

Fwiw i used to have single points on my personal stuff...until i started actually training and running a gun. Single points just leave the rifle swinging and moving way too much for me

I agree with you TF, single points serve a good purpose but for most of us its not a very comfortable or functional sling for what we use it for.

I don't think I would ever clear out a house or anything with my AR. If i hear a strange noise in the night I'm grabbing a pistola.

    Reported:rolleyes:

No, it swings to my side or my back if I have to transition to a pistol or walk or move.
I don't like how the 2 point sits when I do transition, and flipping it over your shoulder like they show in their videos doesnt always work. I have had that sling slide off my shoulder, then your just a tangled up piece of shit flailing around with an expensive as weight tripping you up.

^^This, then the option is always there for what you want. There are good things about the 2 point that I do like. But, lets face it, a tool for every job. Nothing works perfect for everything.
I really like that one that was posted earlier for the 2 in 1.

When your hiking for coyotes, they sure come in handy.
Which brings me back to the earlier conversation regarding the 1 and 2 point slings. Hunting stuff with an AR, the 2 point is very useful.

Good. The magpul stuff would look really out of place with my furniture

    i get it...

I agree with you, thats what I will be doing as well.. but, I've been in scenarios where a little more control, comfort, whatever you want to call it, is needed, and a 2 point seems to give that.
