I ordered two Bushmaster lowers from Brownells and the plan is to do a SBR with one.

Just came back from the USARAK Marksmanship Competition at JBER. We (our unit, 1st Battalion 5th Infantry Regiment) took 1st and 2nd. I shot on the second place team. Just some Wainwright boys showing the paratroopers what good shooting is Total points scored in parentheses.

USARAK Marksmanship Competition Results:
1st: 1-5, A Team (3,390); Wainwright
2nd: 1-5, B Team (2,985); Wainwright
3rd: 1-501 (2,846); Richardson
4th: 3-21 (2,760); Wainwright

We shot service rifles with iron sights at 500, 400, 300 yds prone, 200 and 100 yds kneeling, and 75-25 yds standing. We shot M9 pistols from 35-15 yds standing, kneeling, and prone. The competition included EIC matches for pistol and rifle. It was a great time.

I just went on Amazon and bought a bunch of stuff as soon as I brought the AR home. Right now I'm just waiting to pick up that Eotech g33 scope to compliment the Eotech sights on it now.

 

Utg has been making some pretty sweet stuff lately. It uses a copy of the Gieselle nut. It seems to have good feedback. And their keymod 15" is only 130..

 

Thinking about building a 6.5 Grendel, I've got a line on an 18" satern bolt and stainless barrel, has anyone used satern barrels and are they any good

 

colt 6920 socom ii with vortex viper pst 1-4 scope. great AR scope highly recommend it. And the scope has an unconditional lifetime warranty, they'll replace it or fix it no matter what happens to it FO LIFE.
